Journey Overview
You will be working as part of a cross-cultural team in partnership with local village churches and church plants. This outreach will involve organizing day camps for children, visiting elderly and families in their homes, and possibly helping practically where needed. The purpose of this outreach is to help the local churches in their ministries to the least reached by ministering to children, youth, and elderly in villages. Through this cross-cultural experience, you will have the amazing opportunity to grow in your faith and relationship with God.
Price excludes flights, insurance & any possible vaccinations and is subject to change according to the exchange rate. Price is for adults and there is a discount for minors.
As part of our Safeguarding policy, you may require a valid enhanced DBS certificate, which may cost an additional £20.

What To Expect
For coordinating the children's camps, your team will lead games, songs, Bible stories and crafts. When visiting people in their homes, you will have the opportunity to listen to their stories, share testimonies, give food parcels, and offer a Bible and prayer. Your team may be involved in coordinating a youth meeting and leading a church service.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will there be accommodation provided?
You will stay in Chisinau in OM accommodations upon arrival and before departure. During outreach, you will stay either with local families or in church buildings in the villages. Please note, it may not be possible for groups, families, or married couples to stay together within the different accommodations.
Will there be food provided?
Good Moldovan food is provided. Sometimes you as a team will have to prepare your own meal. Please come ready to serve together alongside the team. Please advise us if you have any dietary restrictions or needs.
Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?
Participants must arrange their own travel to and from Chisinau, Moldova. The Airport Code for Chisinau is: RMO. Participants will be picked up by OM team members at the airport, train- or bus station.
What should my health condition be like?
Participants must be in good health and physically able to stand, bend, lift, walk and do other physical activities as needed.
Do I need a visa?
You can only enter Moldova with a Passport, not an ID card. Citizens from the EU, USA, Canada, Switzerland and a CIS countries do not need a Visa. All others may need a Visa. If a Visa is needed and costs are involved, this is the participant's responsibility to pay the fees.
