Aromanian Gospel of Mark, MediaWorks

A historical moment

For the first time, the Aromanian/Vlachs people receive a portion of God’s Word in their mother tongue.

MediaWorks and their partners are pleased to announce that the Gospel of Mark is now available in the Aromanian Frasherot language, which is spoken in Albania and some parts of Greece. With 1,000 copies in print, local partners will distribute the newly translated Gospel among families in Albania.

"I am so excited about the publication of the Gospel of Mark in Aromanian Frasherot for the first time,” expressed Bible translator Alfred from The Word for the World.

"This is an amazing and very historical moment,” he continued. “It has never happened before for the Aromanian Frasherot language and our community.”

Praise God for this significant milestone. Please pray for those who receive print and digital copies of the Gospel of Mark.
