Zusammen mit dir sind wir Weltenveränderer

As personnel officer you welcome people to be a part of what God is doing in OM, helping them find their place and care for them as they live out God's mission. In this way you'll contribute very practically to provide a stable and growing missions force to accomplish our mission to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached.

Dein Profil, um Welten zu verändern

You look after people from the moment an enquiry comes in and assess suitable opportunities for them. These can be from people from within Ireland interested to join our mission in Ireland or abroad, or people from all over the world who are exploring joining our team in Ireland. Tasks include interviews, administration, practical preparation, training, and orientation. You will be in contact with applicants, their sending fields and sending churches, so good communication and people skills are essential.

As Personnel officer you're also responsible for the practical systems and organisation for our team, for example creating and implementing policies, updating employment contracts, assisting in visa issues, administration, job descriptions etc. You see the value of well-organised structures that enable people to thrive, and are able to create and uphold them in support of the team.

You'll be part of OM Ireland's team, living and working alongside people from all over the world. In collaboration with People Care and Leadership you're caring for people on our team, providing the practical needs necessary for people to live out God's mission. Integrity, flexibility and care are high values for you. You're also working together with other Personnel Officers in our international organisation.

This role can be done part time, or can be combined with another role on the field to form a full-time commitment.

* The jobs listed on this website do not have a set salary. This means that the person who applies will need to raise their own support, which is money that they will use to live on. The amount of support money they need to raise will depend on things like where they are from, if they have a family, and what country they will be working in. There might be some jobs that pay salary, but these are rare and would need to be negotiated with the sending offices and the teams you'd like to serve with. If you have any questions about this, please contact your local home office. Always keep in mind that our ministry depends on generous giving from our partners around the globe and God's ongoing provision. Joining OM is always seen as a step of faith and trust in a God who will provide for our needs through his chosen people.
