Disciple maker among migrant workers.

Kutno is an industrial town 130 kms from Warsaw. In the last twenty years the town has grown a lot as it has received large investments from both foreign and national capital, A direct result of this has been the growth in migrant worker communities. Originally, these communities we only from Eastern Europe but now has seen an Influx of workers from Latin America and South East Asia. 

Migrant workers face many challenges in Poland, besides language and culture, they also encounter other problems like access to benefits and pensions, minimal wages, work permits or security and safety. Alcohol and substance abuse problems are also common among these migrant workers. Back in 2019 OM  started a ministry to serve migrant workers from Eastern Europe. Even though OM shifted its ministry focus to the Ukrainian refugees when the war broke out in 2022, they continued to follow closely the situation of other migrant workers in the town of Kutno. Some of these migrant workers are believers, but they struggle to adapt to Polish churches due to cultural differences. They need to receive guidance and be discipled to continue in their faith and find their place in this new situation. Recognizing their incredible potential to reach other migrants and the Poles alike, we also see the danger of them becoming disconnected from other believers and prioritizing financial needs above God's mission. 

Requirements –

    A willingness to learn Polish (3 month language learning with a helper). 

    Spanish speaking abilities. 

    Good English. 

    Independent workers.
